Blairsville is 25 miles Northeast of Blue Ridge and offers all kinds of recreational activities. You will find a multitude of great hiking trails in the unspoiled Chattahoochee National Forest. Several waterfalls are within a days hike including DeSoto Falls, Dukes Creek Falls and horse Trough Falls. Like Blue Ridge the counties population is around 18,000 to 20,000 with the county seat being the town of Blairsville.
